This mod intends to make copper, lead, and their alloy, molybdochalkos, cold-forgable - that is, you can take their ingot and metal plate forms and use them on an anvil without first warming them up in a forge. This allows easier working with these metals and a more realistic experience.

I will note here that the base game curiously already allows cold-forging of tin, lead, and lead solder ingots, but not metal plates or work items (exception being lead; they do allow cold-forging already). I have made a patch to add tin plates to the list of cold-forgable items, but each one can be removed independently without risk of instability to the game. CAUTION: If you do change the files, note that multiplayer clients connecting to your servers will look for the same version and fail, thus you will have to manage sending the modified version directly yourself. If you wish deeply for me to make a new version with some of the patches suppressed, let me know, but I make no guarentees that I will entertain managing multiple copies, especially as the game is further developed.

I was on the fence with adding molybdochalkos, or leaded copper. sources I could find didn't seem to mention anything about cold-forgablility, and in fact there is little information on the alloy on Wikipedia. It makes sence that the alloy of two cold-workable materials would also be, but I haven't been able to verify this. You can remove the patches that mention molybdochalkos in the name to revert the behavior to base game.

I hope you will enjoy this mod; it certainly makes the early game a tiny bit easier as you don't need a forge or extra coal to work copper, and makes it much easier to make copper plates for mid-game, to make large quantities of hoppers and chutes.
